Illusive®, upfacing Longiflorum
Illusive ® is the first upright Longiflorum from Mak Breeding. Mak Breeding is in search for Longiflorum varieties whose flowers are somewhat upright. This has great advantages in the processing and transportation of the flowers, and also enhances the decorative value of the Longiflorums. In addition, within the breeding also a lot of attention is paid to the leaf quality. Shorter and wider leaves is a desire of many forcers because more plants can be planted on one m2.
Illusive ® has many of these characteristics. The large flowers are clearly up facing what will make the processing and transporting of the flower stems a lot easier. Initial tests showed that the quality of the bulbs of Illusive ® in long storage stays very good.
The vase life of Illusive ® is truly phenomenal. You can enjoy a vase of those wonderful flowers for several weeks!
